The so-called “Democratic Republic” of Congo is located in Central Afrika. It is the largest country in Afrika, covering 905,355 square miles, and has a population of 75,507,308 people. 60% of Congo is covered by the second largest rain forest of the world. The land is watered by tropical rains and the Kasai, Kongo and Ubangi rivers.
Congo is a rich territory. It is rich in fertile land and vegetation, and it is rich in mineral resources as well. According to the CIA World Fact Book, Congo has $24 trillion worth of unmined mineral ores within its land!
Congo is a major source of diamonds, gold, copper, cobalt, manganese, iron, uranium, tin, and columbite-tantalite (coltan). These Congolese resources are the sustenance of Euro-American and Asian jewelry, electrical, automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and computer technology industries.
The name “Congo” and the word “crisis” have almost become synonymous because of events in Congo. The people of Congo have suffered the First Congo War (1996-1997), the Second Congo War (1998-2003), the Ituri Conflict (1999-2007) and the Kivu Conflict, a.k.a. the Third Congo War (2004-present). Since 1996 about six million people have been killed, women have been raped and/or forced in to prostitution and have been abused and maimed, children are forced to mine for minerals and are forced to kill as child soldiers.
The perpetrators who are culpable for the Crisis in the Congo are the Euro-American corporations who finance collaborating bandits who pretend to be and are portrayed by the Euro-American “news” media as “rebels”; the Euro-American governments who covertly arm the so-called “rebels” and who support compliant neo-colonialist governments who do the bidding of Euro-American corporations that “invest” in resource-rich Afrikan countries.
The Crisis in the Congo is part of what can be called … The Crisis in Afrika … A crisis imposed by Euro-American kingdoms and the Vatican since 1493. In his book The West And The Rest Of Us, Chinweizu wrote
“… motivated by the lure of enriching plunder, white hordes have sallied forth from their western European homelands to … Assault, loot, occupy, rule and exploit the rest of the world. And even now, the fury of their expansionist assault upon the rest of us has not abated.”
– Chinweizu, The West And The Rest Of Us, p. 33

Our okenye (elder) Chinweizu was absolutely correct, “the fury of their expansionist assault has not abated.” Belgian colonial domination; the clandestine complicity of the CIA and the SIS in the fomenting of the Katanga secession and role in the assassination of Patrice Lumumba, Maurice Mpolo and Joseph Okito; the neo-colonial dictatorship of the detestable Joseph Sese Seko Mobutu; the corruption in the police, the army and the government; the impoverishment and terrorization of the people of Congo are all the perpetuation of exploitation, degradation and oppression for the enrichment of foreign corporations and their complicit Afrikan collaborators.
