Maryland Pan Afrikan Community Town Hall Meeting Set for Saturday, July 13 in East Baltimore

The Maryland Pan Afrikan Cooperative Coalition (MPACC), in cooperation with Aging People in Prison Human Rights Campaign (APP-HRC), the George Jackson University (GJU) and the Sixth Region Diaspora Caucus (SRDC), will hold our first post-COVID Pan Afrikan Community Town Hall Meeting at the Temple of New Afrikan Thought, 5525 Harford Road in Easy Baltimore, on Saturday, July 13 from 12 noon to 4 PM.  

  • We will briefly introduce the Maryland Pan Afrikan Cooperative Coalition.
  • We will share ideas for a Community Cooperative Defense Plan.
  • We will discuss issues of Emergency Preparedness and how the community can be ready to respond to emergencies.
  • We will explain and discuss the process of organizing and establishing our grassroots voice on the world stage that was started by SRDC in 2007, continued until COVID and will be resumed this year.
  • Free admission; Diasporan Soul Cafe at the Temple of New African Thought will be selling healthy delicious food on the premises.
